Introduction
Recent events and studies have shown that standard CCTV systems often fail to deliver the detail needed for identification purposes. In many cases poor recordings are blamed, but standard CCTV is inherently limited by the television standard (PAL) introduced over 50 years ago. Forensic Vision, however, use the latest in digital technology to deliver camera systems offering over 50 times the detail of the best PAL CCTV cameras. The pictures are of stunning quality - close to that obtained from 35mm film cameras. Forensic Vision was established to bring the benefits of modern technology into a large section of the surveillance market. To achieve this we have concentrated on optimising the performance/price ratio and allowing flexible configurations that can be adapted to specific customer needs.
